River Waves of the Ocean

River Waves of the Ocean, the latest exhibition by La Luna Gallery, was officially opened on Saturday, March 6th. The event, coinciding with International Women’s Day, celebrates gender quality without limiting participation by gender, background or orientation. The result was an event attended by a few hundred people all coming together to celebrate art, creativity and diversity.

The exhibition, curated by artist and academic Krynkana Kongpetch, features 15 talented Thai artists with their artwork on display both inside and outside the gallery. The pieces on display ranged from traditional paintings and photography to more sensory installations such as food art and storytelling through hand sanitizers.

Visitors on the night were also treated to several unannounced live performances including an interpretive performance in our garden, readings in our second floor and some tastefully done nude posing with the artworks. The full album of photos can be found on our social media here.

We would like to thank everyone sincerely for joining us at such a wonderful event and we cannot wait to see you at the gallery throughout the exhibition.

River Waves of the Ocean will be on display in La Luna Gallery until the 6th of May. As always, the gallery is open from 9am-6pm every day with admission free for everyone.
